Visit the Monarch in Moruya, a cosy and historic hotel with character

The Monarch hotel is a part of local history in Moruya, originally built in 1859 as the Gold diggers. It was rebuilt as the Commercial Hotel in 1866 and finally was rebuilt again as the Monarch in 1939.

The monarch is located conveiniently in the centre of town, a minutes walk down to the beautiful Moruya river where you will find the markets which are on every Saturday. When you stay at the Monarch Hotel enjoy a continental breakfast in the Gallery Restaurant or find one of the cafes near by.

The Monarch is an interesting and quirky venue with a relaxed atmosphere.
